The Double Agent Who Helped Take Down bin Laden: The incredible Story of Agent Storm

Double Agent Storm, a brave soul indeed!

Agent Storm, whose real name is Morten Storm, was a Danish double agent who worked with both the CIA and the Danish intelligence agency PET. He was instrumental in helping the US track down Osama bin Laden.

Storm infiltrated al-Qaeda and became close to Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born cleric who was a key leader in the organization. Storm passed on information to his handlers about Awlaki's location, which ultimately led to a drone strike that killed him in 2011. 

Storm also provided information that led to the identification of the courier who was delivering messages to and from bin Laden's compound in Pakistan. This ultimately led to the US raid on the compound in 2011 that resulted in bin Laden's death. 

Storm's work was risky and dangerous, but it provided valuable intelligence to the US and helped to bring one of the world's most wanted terrorists to justice.
