The Penumbra Database spy thriller Chapter 1- A Call To Come Home to Key West

I enjoyed writing the spy thriller Penumbra Database. Visiting the Florida Keys and Key West to research great locations to write into the plot turned me into an enduring Conch Republic fan and lifetime parrothead.

Enjoy this video about the Caribbean Basin Interdiction Force (CBIF), an offshoot of the CIA. Corey Pearson is Station Chief of CBIF, which is headquartered in Key West.

You'll luv the funky prop plane that Corey flies into the Key West Airport in. Following protocol, he enters the “Last Call Beach Bar” inside the terminal and orders a Mahi Mahi sandwich, then gets into a pink taxi waiting outside and takes a tour of Key West while CBIF agents shadow behind, making sure he has no tails.

Key West lovers will enjoy the tour along mangrove marshes and Memorial Beach, where the taxi stops at briefly, then continues to the Southernmost Point, where he is dropped off. CBIF counterintelligence agents pick him up and drive him to a secret safe house on Eaton Street in Key West, near the Historic Seaport District.

Enjoy the scenes of Key West!
